Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines New for 2020

San Antonio Business Journal

Six Flags Fiesta Texas has unveiled plans for a major new addition for 2020 — Daredevil Dive Flying Machines.

Billed as the world’s tallest ride of its kind, guests will experience weightlessness as they soar through aerial banks, loops and dives while seated in a retro four-seater plane.

The new ride was designed so that the flying machines can turn right-side up and upside down, breaking from formation and maneuvering into aerobatic dogfights as their passengers take a barnstorming journey ascending nearly five stories high.

Six Flags Fiesta Park President Jeffrey Siebert said Six Flags continues to deliver some of the "most innovative rides and attractions” in the industry.

The new Daredevil ride will feature a half-dozen flying machines offering guests a rare view of Fiesta Texas’ Crackaxle Canyon area. Riders will also hear what park officials said is a “dramatically themed steampunk soundtrack.”

Fiesta Texas will also present a Mardi Gras Festival in 2020, featuring parade floats decorated by renowned New Orleans float designer Kern Studios.

The Alamo City theme park will offer a special flash sale promotion on 2020 season passes through the Labor Day weekend.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is one of 26 theme parks operated by Six Flags Entertainment Corp.
