DC Universe Expands

Now open, Metropolis Transit Authority transports 16 passengers 17 feet above DC Universe aboard two Art Deco covered monorail-style trains. The new attraction is a self-propelled gondola that quietly glides guests along an elevated rail. Metropolis Transit Authority gives riders a panoramic and relaxing view of DC Universe without the high thrills of taller attractions.

Testing goes into full swing for Cyborg: Cyber Revolution and Shazam! Tower of Eternity, two new rides soon to debut in the expanded DC Universe section. Batman: The Ride has reopened with a fresh paint job and Goliath continues its transformation into Chupacabra. Dining upgrades are under way with a major remodel in progress for Pete’s Eats.

Continuing on is the construction of Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ expanded DC Universe area. Metropolis Transit Authority is rapidly taking shape as the queue and station comes to live. Its cars have also been installed on the track. Work also continues on Cyborg: Cyber Revolution with the entrance portal and queue area in progress. Shazam! Tower of Eternity has also begun commissioning.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is in the home stretch of their DC Universe expansion. The third attraction, Shazam! Tower of Eternity, has gone vertical as work also continues on Metropolis Transit Authority and Cyborg: Cyber Revolution. The surrounding area has also seen a number of dining and retail refreshes. Other park projects include a Hustler refurbishment and a paint refresh of Goliath's track.
