Holiday in the Park

November 23 to December 23, 2024

The most wonderful time of the year returns to Six Flags Fiesta Texas on select dates between November 23 and December 23. Holiday in the Park features award-winning live entertainment, such as The Majesty of Christmas in Zaragoza Theatre, thousands of Christmas lights around the park, visits with Santa Claus and themed holiday areas. 2024 sees the return of live carolers in Crackaxle Canyon and an expanded Hometown Holidays section in Rockville.

Holiday in the Park began in 1985 at one of Fiesta Texas' sister parks, Six Flags Over Texas. Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ current version of Holiday in the Park began in 2007. However, Fiesta Texas is no stranger to Christmas events. A similar event, Lone Star Christmas, took place in the park from 1992 to 1995. Lone Star Christmas was no small feat for the park. The event featured a "tree of lights" that spanned 115 feet up the quarry wall, topped with a 12-foot star. In 1993, the park recorded the usage of sixteen miles worth of Christmas lights, five thousand feet of garland and more than five hundred Christmas bows. Entertainment included a 50s-themed Christmas show and a dinner show inside Sangerfest Halle. To top it off, the original Rattler was decorated with a 60-foot-tall star on its lift hill.

Live Entertainment

Fiesta Texas’ entertainment continues through Holiday in the Park with award-winning live performances and larger-than-life productions. Shows are free with park admission.

Helpful information to get the most out of your visit to this year’s Holiday in the Park event at Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

  • Holiday in the Park operates on select dates from November 23 to December 23 during the 2024 season. A full calendar of operating hours can be found at the park's main website.

  • Every ride is scheduled to operate with the exception of water attractions and Hurricane Harbor San Antonio. Some rides will not operate in colder temperatures. We recommend downloading the Six Flags mobile app for up-to-date ride closure information.

  • A highlight of the holiday season is the park’s live entertainment offerings. We recommend arriving to venues earlier than usual to ensure you have a good view, especially for The Majesty of Christmas. Please note that some outdoor stages and Rockville during the tree lighting ceremony have incredibly limited seating and viewing areas. Full show schedules can be found in the Live Entertainment section above.

  • We recommend trying specialty food offerings during your visit to Holiday in the Park. These limited-time options are only available during the holiday season and differ from classic theme park fare. For more information, view the Specialty Food & Drink section above.
