Continuing on is the construction of Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ expanded DC Universe area. Metropolis Transit Authority is rapidly taking shape as the queue and station comes to live. Its cars have also been installed on the track. Work also continues on Cyborg: Cyber Revolution with the entrance portal and queue area in progress. Shazam! Tower of Eternity has also begun commissioning.

Multi-Ride DC Universe Expansion (Update 8), Ride Refurbishments

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is in the home stretch of their DC Universe expansion. The third attraction, Shazam! Tower of Eternity, has gone vertical as work also continues on Metropolis Transit Authority and Cyborg: Cyber Revolution. The surrounding area has also seen a number of dining and retail refreshes. Other park projects include a Hustler refurbishment and a paint refresh of Goliath's track.

Multi-Ride DC Universe Expansion (Update 7), Ride Refurbishments

The DC Universe expansion area has reopened as Batgirl Coaster Chase and Green Lantern Emerald Flight continue their theming refreshes. Most of the track for Metropolis Transit Authority is now installed, not including the station area and transfer track. Ground work moves forward for the Shazam! Tower of Eternity ride. Other projects include fresh paint for Goliath and a refurbishment of the Hustler ride.

Construction continues to move along on Fiesta Texas’ new multi-ride DC Universe expansion. The first attraction, Cyborg: Cyber Revolution, has been installed and is currently in testing. The area as a whole, however, still requires a great deal of work to be completed. Other updates include the new Daily Planet gift shop near Superman Krypton Coaster and other theming enhancement projects.

Water slides in Hurricane Harbor are also installed and receiving their final touches before a grand opening.

Now that Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster has made its grand debut, the next phase of DC Universe transformations begin. Construction walls have gone up inside Thrill Seeker Park and demolition of both the children’s play ship attraction and the performance stage is under way. Sky Searcher and Rambling Road are also closed while the demolition progresses.

Fiesta Texas has tons of construction and refurbishment projects happening around the park. This includes upgrades to Boomerang’s track, along with the installation of a new braking system and soft harness train. New work is taking place at Thunder Beach Speedway, pointing to a possible electric go cart upgrade.
