Six-Slide Hurricane Harbor Expansion (Update 1), DC Universe Expansion (Update 2)
Behind-the-Scenes Hurricane Harbor Construction Tour
New cabanas have popped up in the area that will soon be home to multiple new children’s water slides in Hurricane Harbor San Antonio.
This pump house will provide the necessary power for the park’s new slide additions.
Several pipes are being installed, which will transport water from the pump house to the new attractions.
This former children’s play pool has been completely leveled. In the background, Texas Treehouse and the remaining Splash Water Springs area can be seen.
Several footers, which will serve as structural components for the new water slides, are being poured.
The furthest set of footers will be for RipQurl, followed by Vortex, Stingray Racer, Bonzai Pipelines, Cowabunga and Wipeout.
Once structural ground work has completed, a new pool will be constructed for the slides.
DC Universe Expansion
This area, which has now been fully cleared, will be the future home of Cyborg: Cyber Revolution.
Since our last visit, the remnants of Thrill Seeker Park stage have been completely removed. This general area will be home to the station for the Metropolis Transit Authority, along with Shazam! Tower of Eternity.
New Fiesta Bay Boardwalk Mural
A new mural, which also serves as a unique photo opportunity, has popped up on the side of Boardwalk Treasures.
