Water Park Expansion

For the littlest thrill seekers and new for 2024 - RipQurl is the miniature version of the iconic TornadoWAVE ride - the ProSlide KIDZ WAVE features award-winning TORNADO technology.

RipQurl comes as part of a major enhancement and rebrand for Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ Hurricane Harbor water park. Along with the new attraction is the addition of five other family attractions, more cabanas, shade, picnic tables and luxury loungers and upgraded landscaping with immersive decor.

This update features multiple behind-the-scenes looks at construction around Fiesta Texas. The first shipment of new DC Universe ride components has arrived while crews continue to transform the primary construction area with new themed elements and footers. Water slides in Hurricane Harbor are also installed and receiving their final touches before a grand opening.

Work is under way as Hurricane Harbor San Antonio, Fiesta Texas’ water park, begins the addition of six new children’s slides. Join us for a behind-the-scenes construction tour of the progress. Clearing also continues at the site of the new DC Universe expansion, which will be home to three new attractions in 2024.

Several track pieces and ride components have arrived on-site for Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster. Within the park, work is under way as crews prep to pour foundation for the new coaster. New children’s water slides set for Hurricane Harbor are also now on-site. Other park happenings include electric vehicle charging, new shade at security, the introduction of Fatburger and more.
