Miscellaneous Park Projects

Footers have been poured near the park’s front gate, likely to extend the shade structure over security.

“VIP Entrance” signage has been added at the gate to the left of the park’s main entrance, near Goliath.

The structure that was previously the home of Airbrush near Thrill Seeker Park has been repainted.

The unused stage in Thrill Seeker Park is in the process of having its facade removed.

Hurricane Harbor San Antonio Transformations

A paint refresh has begun on the Beach Bum Surf Co. building, which sits at the entrance of Hurricane Harbor San Antonio.

The entrance to Hurricane Harbor San Antonio will soon have new signage and themed pieces.

Boomerang Upgrades

On top of an upgraded braking system, Boomerang is also undergoing track refurbishment with a focus on high-impact areas and the track spine to help with wear and tear.

Boomerang will also receive an upgraded train, featuring soft harness restraints. The park also purchased a second train from Vekoma to ensure the ride can continually operate during refurbishments.

Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster

Signage for Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster has popped up around the ride’s construction area fencing.

The future home of Kid Flash Cosmic Coaster has been fully cleared and leveled. The next step is the addition of a concrete pad.

Thunder Beach Speedway

Lots of work is taking place at Thunder Beach Speedway as charging stations have been installed on railing in the station. Crews were also cleaning up the station during our visit.

Black tracks have also been installed, which will likely be used alongside the charging bays for electric-powered go carts.

Thrill Seeker Park Ride Rethemes

ZoomJets, which will be known as Stunt Pilots after its refurbishment, is in the process of being repainted.

Planes now feature alternating green and blue color schemes.

Bucking Broncos, formerly known as Buckarooz, is also in the process of being repainted. The ride’s entrance signage has been updated to reflect the name change.
