Being based out of the Dallas/Fort Worth area, many of our visits to Six Flags Fiesta Texas and San Antonio involve staying in a hotel for multiple nights. Picking hotels can sometimes be stressful. Do they serve breakfast? What is the parking situation like? How many people can sleep in one room? These are just a few of the bullet points we ponder when deciding our next hotel reservation. Below is a list, in no particular order, of our five favorite hotels located near Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Each hotel has their own perks and qualities. Which perks and qualities matter most to you?

Drury Inn & Suites constantly prides themselves on above-average service and amenities. This location is no different! Is free food your thing? Drury Inn & Suites North Stone Oak provides free food items MULTIPLE times a day. In the morning, hotel guests can take advantage of the free hot breakfast. In the evening, the hotel provides the 5:30 Kickback. This provides guests with hot food items, alcoholic beverages, and more. On top of this, Drury Inn & Suites also serves up complimentary popcorn and drinks throughout the day.
Have a large group? There are three different room options when staying at Drury Inn & Suites North Stone Oak. The first option is a King Room. This hotel room comes with all the hotel’s amenities, plus one king bed. The second option is a Queen Room. As before, this room comes with all amenities, plus two queen beds. The third, and largest, room option is the Suite. The suite features a large living area with pull-out sofa sleeper and two additional private rooms with accommodations. Pets are also allowed at an additional fee.

The best way to describe Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio Northwest/Medical Center? Consistency. The rooms are consistently clean and in good shape, the prices are consistently lower than other hotels of the same star rating, and the staff is consistently helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a nice hotel with reasonable prices, this location is for you. Let us mention that Hampton Inn & Suites also serves up hot breakfast for free to guests!
Hampton Inn & Suites San Antonio Northwest/Medical Center provides three different types of rooms. First up is the Queen Room. This room features two queen beds and all the amenities. Next up is the King Room. This room features one king bed, work desk, and more. Last, but not least, is the Suite. Two suite options are available at this hotel. The first being one king bed and the second being two queen beds. Other features of these suites are a sofa bed, wet bar, and more. Please note that only service animals are allowed to stay at the hotel.

While this Hilton Garden Inn is over 20 miles away from Fiesta Texas, it still makes our list. Why? Many times throughout the year this hotel provides much cheaper rates than many options found closer to the park! Another great feature of this hotel is that it was built within the past few years. Though the location is a bit further from Fiesta Texas, it does put you closer to the Schlitterbahn water park (if that is in your plans, of course). The hotel, however, does not provide free breakfast. Many food options are available in the immediate area.
Hilton Garden Inn has two room options available for guests. The first is the King Room with one king bed. The second is the Queen Room with two queen beds. Both of these room options feature a television, work desk, coffee/tea maker, and more. Please note that the hotel does not allow pets unless they are a service animal.

The Four Points hotel is another great option when staying in San Antonio. Located just over 14 miles from Fiesta Texas, Four Points is located next to the San Antonio Airport and a plethora of dining and retail locations. Why have we stayed here in the past? The hotel is consistently clean and upkeep is reliable. We’ve also found this hotel to be cheaper than other comparable options on occasion. Though breakfast is an additional fee, the hotel does provide an all-you-can-eat buffet each morning of hot food items.
Four Points has four different room options available, the first being the Queen Room. This room features two queen beds and all the amenities. Next up is the King Room, featuring one king bed, a work desk, and more. The next two room offerings are Suites. The Queen Suite features two queen beds and a sofa bed. The King Suite features one king bed along with a sofa bed and all amenities. Please note that no pets are allowed at this hotel.

The last hotel on our list is Courtyard San Antonio North/Stone Oak at Legacy. Located just over 10 miles from Fiesta Texas, the hotel was recently renovated, is near many dining and retail options, and provides consistent cleanliness and customer service. We’ve booked this hotel multiple times in the past as it has come up as a cheaper option when compared to hotels in the same class. Courtyard does serve hot breakfast, though it is not included free with your stay.
Courtyard features four different room choices at this location. The first is a king bed/sofa bed combination with both sleeping options being in the same room. Next up is the king bed with whirlpool tub. This room option does not have a sofa bed accommodation. Third is the standard room with two queen beds. This room features a work desk and all the standard amenities. Finally, the fourth room offered is the King Suite. This room features a kind bed, in its own private room, along with a main area. The main area features a desk, sofa bed, and other standard amenities. The hotel does not allow pets.

Read hotel reviews, especially recent submissions. We’ve seen a great hotel but read reviews about horrible parking situations. We certainly did not want to show up to a hotel at midnight and have no place to park. Recent reviews also tell the tale of how a hotel location is holding up. Is it staying clean? Are there upkeep issues? These are all important factors for booking hotels.
