Six Flags Fiesta Texas Has Reopened, Here's a Look at Safety Procedures

Six Flags Fiesta Texas has reopened with limited daily capacity during the COVID-19 pandemic. The park has set up an impressive and strenuous safety program that features contactless, streamlined entry, an enhanced sanitization process, a large focus on social distancing measures and increased mobile ordering capabilities for dining locations.

Please remember that visiting the park currently provides a dated and timed reservation. This ensures Fiesta Texas is following limited capacity requirements from government officials. Reservations can be made at sixflags.com/reserve.

Park Entry

  • Once in the parking lot, Fiesta Texas has implemented social distancing via the use of cones. Guest vehicles are separated by two parking spots on each side.

  • Once parked, guests are led into a climate-controlled tent for a temperature screening. The whole process is quick and contactless.

  • Metal detectors are a thing of the past. After temperature scans, guests are led through a new streamlined security process that requires no removal of personal items or close interactions with security.

  • Self-service ticket sales have been set up at the once-manned ticket booths. Guests are highly encouraged to make their purchases online prior to heading to Six Flags Fiesta Texas.

  • Social distancing markers are located throughout the entry plaza while guests wait to have their admission scanned.

  • Once inside, guests are met with sanitization stations and signage explaining safety protocols and guest expectations.

Social Distancing Measures

  • Seating for guests in Teatro Fiesta is spaced out and blocked off in accordance to social distancing guidelines. Ushers seat show-goers and exiting the venue is also strategically done by row. Six Flags team members also strenuously clean seating in between performances.

  • Restaurants now feature social distancing markers in their serving lines, along with barriers to separate the dining area.

  • Indoor and outdoor seating areas have been spaced out and appropriately marked to meet guidelines.

  • Eating locations have been expanded out into park pathways, like seen at Pete’s Eats. Guardrails have also been set up to keep general traffic from flowing into eating areas.

  • Attractions feature signage that explain limited capacity operations.

Increased Sanitization

  • Hundreds of hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the park.

  • Several portable hand washing stations can also be found throughout the park.

  • Crews frequently sanitize all aspects of the park, including pathways, seating areas, ride vehicles and high-touch items.

Increased Mobile Ordering Capabilities

Six Flags Fiesta Texas has expanded their mobile ordering system to over twenty dining locations, including multiple restaurants in the White Water Bay water park. Click the “Dining” button below to see a full listing of updated mobile ordering availability.
