Major Upgrades Coming to Sangerfest Halle, DC Universe During the Day at Six Flags Fiesta Texas

Six Flags Fiesta Texas continues their focus on dining-related upgrades with another phase of changes coming to Sangerfest Halle. Soon enough, Sangerfest Halle's serving area will reopen with a new kitchen, refill stations and menu offerings. The change will also open up the dining area to additional seating. Pete's Eats recently underwent renovations and has reopened. Six new drink refill stations are also scheduled to open this season. We also take a look at Six Flags Fiesta Texas' DC Universe in action during the day and discuss other park projects.

DC Universe Shines in the Sun

Our first time seeing DC Universe in full action during the day did not disappoint. The DC Universe expansion has been a crucial improvement to this area of the park. The rides are also incredibly interactive and guests are able to get up close to the action for prime viewing points. Don’t forget to hop aboard the Metropolis Transit Authority as it gives a completely different perspective of the new expansion and surrounding attractions.

Plenty of Dining Upgrades Coming Soon

Thoughtful planning is being put into play at some of Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ primary dining locations. Sangerfest Halle has been in limbo for several seasons due to constant changes in direction at the corporate level. Now that the merger is in full force, these important guest experience projects have picked back up.

Sangerfest Halle will feature a new ordering area and kitchen, along with multiple refill stations. A new menu, which will also include current favorites, debuts at Sangerfest Halle once the construction is complete. Sangerfest Halle’s current “temporary” ordering and serving section will be maximized with additional seating.

Over in Rockville, Pete’s Eats has reopened after its kitchen and counter renovation. The ordering, payment and refill process has been refined with the Cedar Fair touch. Instead of ordering menu items one by one, they are served cafeteria-style. Payments and drink refills happen at a separate location as to not slow down the process. The offerings, mainly consisting of traditional hamburgers and chicken, are also better quality. Pete’s Eats will also receive new furniture in the near future.

Rockville Beach Party Debuts

The all-new Rockville Beach Party production also debuted during this visit to the park. Located in Rockville High School, the show is a nostalgic trip that accompanies the vintage Rockville theme quite nicely. On top of great live performances, the set is a constantly-evolving element with projections, vibrant set pieces and special effects. Though not highlighted in the video above, our upcoming ¡Viva la Fiesta! event review will feature several clips of the new show.

Sunsets on Chupacabra/Goliath

We took advantage of the warmer weather and sunshine to grab some new shots of Chupacabra/Goliath as the retheme marches on. Not much as changed since our last visit. Though the ride’s repaint is complete and the entry fountain has seen new life, its primary sign out front still points to Goliath. Either way, the attention to detail and theming enhancement is always a welcome sight.
