Summer Entertainment Ends August 1, Saying Goodbye to Sundance Theatre

Summer Entertainment Ends

Sunday, August 1 is your last chance to experience Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ 2021 summer entertainment line-up. This includes:

  • Bubble Pop! and Disco Fever at the Rockville Street Stage

  • Country Traxx at the Crackaxle Street Stage

  • The Fiesta Band and Summer Nights in Sundance Theatre

  • ¡Fuego! and Neon in Teatro Fiesta

Please note that the Rock the Night fireworks display in Lone Star Lil’s Amphitheater will continue to play through September 6 on days that the park closes at 9:00pm or later.

Goodbye to Sundance Theatre

Once summer entertainment offerings end on August 1 at Fiesta Texas, it is likely that Sundance Theatre will not play host to live entertainment for the remainder of the season. In June, Six Flags Fiesta Texas announced that Sundance Theatre will be removed to make way for a new attraction in 2022.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas originally opened in 1992 with a heavy emphasis on theatrical productions and live entertainment. The park built several state-of-the-art performance venues, including Sundance Theatre, to house their stellar offerings to guests. Sundance Theatre was home to several notable productions over the years, including Rock Apocalypse, Summer Nights and over two decades of award-winning country music entertainment. 2021 marks the final year of live entertainment at Sundance Theatre as the venue is scheduled for demolition.
