My Coasting for Kids Trapdoor Water Slide Challenge Completely Fails at Hurricane Harbor
In June, we participated in the Coasting for Kids fundraiser at Six Flags Over Texas. The fundraiser helps critically ill children and their families go on vacations to the Give Kids the World Village in Florida at no cost. We challenged our viewers to raise enough money to make me ride a trapdoor water slide, which I absolutely despise. Well, you did it! You raised enough money. We headed out to Hurricane Harbor San Antonio at Fiesta Texas to pay our debts, but the challenge didn't go quite as planned.

Ride Spotlight - Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger at Six Flags Fiesta Texas
Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger, the world's steepest B&M dive coaster, officially opened on July 30, 2022 at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The park's 11th roller coaster, Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger reaches speeds of 60 miles per hour and a height of 150 feet. Riders are hung over the attraction's 95-degree first drop before plummeting down and into two inversions.

In 2022, Six Flags Fiesta Texas celebrates their 30th anniversary! On top of mini museums, then and now displays and special events, the park also features a 30th Anniversary Scavenger Hunt activity. Participants work their way through the park, finding ten 30th icons to match up with stickers. Each scavenger hunt also comes with two 30th anniversary collectible pins.
