Fender Bender, a classic bumper cars attraction, was one of Fiesta Texas’ original opening season rides. Fender Bender featured the unique ability to facilitate multiple ride cycles simultaneously as the attraction had two sides. Fiesta Texas, however, only operated one side for several seasons. Prior to 2009, the attraction was named Steingasse, which is German for “Stone Alley.” As with other Spassburg area attractions, Steingasse left behind part of its German-inspired theming to be renamed Fender Bender. For many seasons, the ride area was transformed into a faux ice skating rink during Holiday in the Park. Fender Bender was closed and removed after Memorial Day weekend operations in 2022.
Each bumper car could hold up to two riders.
Fender Bender was located in the park’s Spassburg section.
