Early Ride Modifications
In an effort to refresh Fiesta Bay Boardwalk, Fireball was installed with two other attractions, Spinsanity and Hurricane Force 5. In order to make Fireball fit, the track of Thunder Beach Speedway was slightly modified. At night, Fireball features an exciting LED lighting package. With the addition of Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster, however, Fireball’s backside lighting was removed. The lighting effects proved to be quite the distraction to Wonder Woman Golden Lasso Coaster’s queue area.
Riders endure several high-intensity inversions during the ride cycle.

The Boardwalk’s Past
In 2016, Fireball took over the spot once occupied by S.S. Overboard from 1994 to 2015. S.S. Overboard was a Chance Pharaoh's Fury attraction that originally opened with the park's addition of Fiesta Bay Boardwalk. S.S. Overboard did not operate from 2012 to 2015 and this area of the Fiesta Bay Boardwalk was eventually cut off from park guests.
Fireball is located in the park’s Fiesta Bay Boardwalk area.
