DC Universe Expands for 2024
On top of three new family attractions debuting at Fiesta Texas in 2024, several preexisting rides are also set to undergo huge makeovers. The Thrill Seeker Park children’s section will transform into DC Universe with the announced expansion. All attractions within the area will feature a unique DC Comics character theme. Stunt Pilots, which was originally introduced in 2009 as Big Red Planes, will be rethemed to Green Lantern Emerald Flight.
Green Lantern Emerald Flight gives riders the ability to control the height of their planes.
Green Lantern Emerald Flight first opened at Fiesta Texas in 2009.
The children’s attraction becomes part of Fiesta Texas’ 2024 DC Universe expansion.
Past Attractions
Dornroschen, now known as Grand Carousel, originally occupied the location.
Prior to the addition of Stunt Pilots in 2009, this area of the park was home to the park’s carousel attraction. Then known as Dornroschen, the carousel would be transported to the park’s Rockville area and be renamed Amerigoround. Stunt Pilots was known was known as the Big Red Planes from 2009 to 2011 and ZoomJets from 2011 to 2023.
Wiggles World came Six Flags Fiesta Texas in 2009 and 2010. Some new rides, as well as already-standing attractions, were given new paint jobs and names that resembled Wiggles characters and objects. Big Red Planes was one of several new additions to the area. In 2011, Wiggles World would be renamed Kidzopolis. In April of 2023, ZoomJets was repainted and renamed Stunt Pilots as the children’s area continued its transformation into Thrill Seeker Park.
