Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger (Update 7), Lone Star Lil's & Sangerfest Halle Progress
Lone Star Lil’s Amphitheater
Fresh paint for Lone Star Lil’s Amphitheater appears to be nearly complete as Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger now sits in the venue’s skyline.
Crews are finishing up with painting the underside of Lone Star Lil’s shade covering. Most of the seats have been restored.
Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger
Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger will feature a 150-foot, 95-degree first drop.
Paint is being applied to the coaster’s support columns to achieve the themed rust look.
Shortly after the first drop, riders will dive straight through a Immelmann inversion.
Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger also features a 270-degree zero-G roll in its layout.
The new roller coaster will reach speeds of 60 miles per hour.
Work continues on the ride’s indoor queue with the addition of exterior walls and fresh paint.
Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger stands close to the main pathway, making it one of the most photogenic coasters at Fiesta Texas.
The mid-course brake run will plunge riders down a steep, 75-foot drop.
Shortly after the mid-course brake run, riders will be greeted with a wild-banked turn.
One of the ride’s final elements is an extreme airtime hill.

Sangerfest Halle Remodel
Sangerfest Halle continues to transform with new, themed facades, string lights and upgraded flooring.
Other themed elements, such as the refreshed Sangerfest Halle Stage, center fountain and flower beds have also been introduced.

Construction continues to move along on Fiesta Texas’ new multi-ride DC Universe expansion. The first attraction, Cyborg: Cyber Revolution, has been installed and is currently in testing. The area as a whole, however, still requires a great deal of work to be completed. Other updates include the new Daily Planet gift shop near Superman Krypton Coaster and other theming enhancement projects.
