The progress on Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger lift hill construction is moving quickly. The final brake run and turn into the station is also complete.

The Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger lift hill now peaks up over Lone Star Lil’s Amphitheater.

The next lift hill track piece is set up and ready for installation.

Work continues on the former Sundance Theatre structure, which will soon be used as the indoor queue for Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger.

Other Park Updates

The Texas State Square palm, which is over 100 years old, has been transported to the park’s Fiesta Bay Boardwalk area.

New furniture has been added to the indoor member eating area near Bubba’s River Cafe.

Testing goes into full swing for Cyborg: Cyber Revolution and Shazam! Tower of Eternity, two new rides soon to debut in the expanded DC Universe section. Batman: The Ride has reopened with a fresh paint job and Goliath continues its transformation into Chupacabra. Dining upgrades are under way with a major remodel in progress for Pete’s Eats.

Continuing on is the construction of Six Flags Fiesta Texas’ expanded DC Universe area. Metropolis Transit Authority is rapidly taking shape as the queue and station comes to live. Its cars have also been installed on the track. Work also continues on Cyborg: Cyber Revolution with the entrance portal and queue area in progress. Shazam! Tower of Eternity has also begun commissioning.

Six Flags Fiesta Texas is in the home stretch of their DC Universe expansion. The third attraction, Shazam! Tower of Eternity, has gone vertical as work also continues on Metropolis Transit Authority and Cyborg: Cyber Revolution. The surrounding area has also seen a number of dining and retail refreshes. Other park projects include a Hustler refurbishment and a paint refresh of Goliath's track.

The DC Universe expansion area has reopened as Batgirl Coaster Chase and Green Lantern Emerald Flight continue their theming refreshes. Most of the track for Metropolis Transit Authority is now installed, not including the station area and transfer track. Ground work moves forward for the Shazam! Tower of Eternity ride. Other projects include fresh paint for Goliath and a refurbishment of the Hustler ride.

Construction continues to move along on Fiesta Texas’ new multi-ride DC Universe expansion. The first attraction, Cyborg: Cyber Revolution, has been installed and is currently in testing. The area as a whole, however, still requires a great deal of work to be completed. Other updates include the new Daily Planet gift shop near Superman Krypton Coaster and other theming enhancement projects.

This update features multiple behind-the-scenes looks at construction around Fiesta Texas. The first shipment of new DC Universe ride components has arrived while crews continue to transform the primary construction area with new themed elements and footers. Water slides in Hurricane Harbor are also installed and receiving their final touches before a grand opening.
