Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger (Update 7), Lone Star Lil's & Sangerfest Halle Progress
Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger has reached a milestone with all of its track and support components now in place. Crews begin working on other details, such as the transformation of the ride’s indoor queue and themed painting on supports. Across the park, Sangerfest Halle’s remodel continues with new themed facades, lighting, flooring and more.

Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger continues to shape up as nearly all the first drop, with the exception of the final top piece, has been installed. Crews have also begun working on paint detail to give texture to the attraction’s supports. Other park updates include the reopening of Sangerfest Halle, which is still under construction, and other various projects.
Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger (Update 5)
Work has excelled significantly on Fiesta Texas’ new 2022 roller coaster, Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger. The new B&M Dive Coaster now has a constructed lift hill and base of its first drop. The roller coaster is now a huge statement within the park’s skyline. The ride’s first drop is expected to be installed next.
Dr. D's Cliffhanger (Update 4), Other Park Updates
Work moves quickly on Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger as nearly all of the attraction’s lift hill has been installed. We also take a look at the ride’s indoor queue and progress on other segments of track, including the final brake run and turn into the station.
Dr. D's Cliffhanger (Update 3), Lone Star Lil's, Crackaxle Canyon Refresh
Construction of Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger, the park’s newest roller coaster, moves along as the transfer shed and track installation has begun. Enhancements continue in the Crackaxle Canyon park area with newly-painted buildings, along with a look at the current progress of Lone Star Lil’s Amphitheater’s updated paint scheme.
Dr. D's Cliffhanger (Update 2), Front Gate, New Paint & Restaurant Remodels
Several construction projects are happening around Fiesta Texas. Crews work to begin pouring footers for Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger, the ticket booths at the park’s front gate have been demolished, many structures in Crackaxle Canyon feature fresh paint, multiple restaurants are being remodeled and more.
Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger (Update 1), Sundance Theatre Demolition (Update 2)
Sundance Theatre’s seating area, stage and shade covering have been completely demolished. Crews have also begun clearing the grassy area outside of Lone Star Lil’s Amphitheater for the future station and lift hill of Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger.
First Look: Poltergeist's New Queue Line & Station
Poltergeist reopened to Fiesta Texas guests on September 3. The refreshed attraction features a new paint job, entrance, outdoor queue and an enhanced indoor queue and station. Join us for a virtual tour of this enhanced ride experience.
Poltergeist Refresh (Update 3), Sundance Theatre Demolition
Crews are hard at work transforming Poltergeist’s revamped queue line with fresh paint, enhanced theming and new characters. The ride’s trains have also been repainted and added back to the track. We also take a look at the quickly-moving demolition of Sundance Theatre to make way for Dr. Diabolical’s Cliffhanger.
Poltergeist Refresh (Update 2)
The refresh of Poltergeist continues as crews have finished up painting the main ride structure. The station is now in the process of being repainted and new, ghostly figures have been added.
Poltergeist Refresh (Update 1)
Crews are working quickly on the refresh of Poltergeist. This includes a fresh paint job featuring new colors for the main ride structure, along with a new concept and retheme of the attraction’s queue line and station area.
Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines (Update 5)
Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines moves closer to completion as more theming enhancements take place. The construction fence has been removed and the attraction’s impressive entrance portal is now front and center.
Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines (Update 4)
Though Six Flags Fiesta Texas has been closed for months due to the COVID-19 pandemic, exciting progress has been made on Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines, including the installation of the main ride structure and vehicles.
Dare Devil Dive (Update 3), Children's Area Re-Theme (Update 3), Boomerang (Update 2)
Extensive queue and theme work continues on Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines, the Krazy Kars attraction undergoes a paint job, Kiddee Koaster’s queue and station undergo more changes and the repaint project of Boomerang is complete.

Prep work proceeds on Dare Devil Dive Flying Machines as crews work on the ride’s base portion. Boomerang refurbishment continues with a fresh paint job. Kiddee Koaster shows the first signs of transformation as the park’s children’s area begins its re-theme.
The Joker Carnival of Chaos (Update 11), DC Super-Villains Swing (Update 6), Other Park Projects
The Joker Carnival of Chaos and DC Super-Villains Swing are all but complete and new theming can be found in the DC Universe area. Fiesta Texas also continues construction on two new structures in Los Festivales and Rockville.
The Joker Carnival of Chaos (Update 10), DC Super-Villains Swing (Update 5)
Fine details continue to progress on The Joker Carnival of Chaos’ queue line as landscaping is added, the main sign is erected, and a shade structure is constructed. Landscaping around DC Super-Villains Swing has also received a refresh.

The final stages of queue line work is currently taking place on The Joker Carnival of Chaos. DC Super-Villains Swing is also completely constructed. Other projects are also happening in DC Universe and Los Festivales.
The Joker Carnival of Chaos (Update 8) & More
Main support columns for The Joker Carnival of Chaos have been bolted together on the ground. The ride’s LED lighting package has also been installed. The park also continues preparing for their new summer show package.
